More poems about Valentines Day

LOVE WELL
If we love, let us love well,
Not half hearted for loved ones can tell,
They may not say anything at all,
But there is an ache that often does fall
On a heart of those who love those
Who can’t give completely when they propose.
They may send flowers on Valentines Day,
Take them to dinner, dress up in a special way,
But as a constant companion they just cannot be,
Other things seem important they don’t see
The need of true love and sweet giving,
Too wrapped up in their own life living.
Stop right now and analyse your self today,
Do you think of your loved ones first, and say,
Let me meet their needs today before my own?
Then by your actions make this true love kindly known.
Start afresh right now just before Valentines Day,
Then shower them with thoughtfulness in a way
That will bring to life a deep everlasting love,
That will increase now, ready for heaven above.
