SONNET 92 HAPPY NEW YEAR
As a new year dawns, let us kneel and pray
For strength to prevail over trials that come,
Embracing Gods will so battles are won,
That each of us will have joy sent our way,
Dear friends, stop, just try and help those in need,
Put others first in all you do and say,
Lend a hand to those who have gone astray,
Pray for those who wander, and their souls feed.
A prosperous new year we wish for you,
Happiness also and for those you love,
May all Gods blessing be poured from above
As you strive for high goals this new year through.
As the old year dies and along comes the new,
May Gods sweet smiling face be felt by you.
