        MY HUSBAND’S SMILEY TIE
My husband has a black tie with many a smiley face,
You’d be surprised how many more smiles it does make,
Whenever he wears it, it cheers people all over the place,
And lots of comments about his tie he laughingly does take.

It was a gift from daughter Becky quite a few years ago,
And a little poem was written when it was quite new,
But today his tie seems to have made many smiles glow,
Cheered many a sad heart, let some sunshine show through.

I hope his smiley face tie lasts for many years to come
It washes very nicely and presses well if he makes a mess,
I know it is my favorite tie for it always brings lots of fun,
I really hope it never shrinks or wear out I must confess.

Every man should have a smiley tie to cheer those around,
Wear it hanging out so all about may see each happy smile,
The people will cheer up and many smiles will be found,
As you walk about go and buy one and try it for awhile.
