LUMINOUS IN PURITY
Will the world be luminous, shine bright with every colour known?
The eastern sky, as the sun rises, His coming glory be shown,
By such beauteous brightness that all those remaining will not doubt
That the millennial reign has begun as we give the Hosanna shout.

Will His face illuminate that deep eternal love, pure and divine?
Will I be able to look into those eyes, hold His hand in mine
As He radiates the luminous light that comes from heaven above?
All the while working for His cause, basking in that effulgent love.

Some mornings, when the night sky has been so very clear,
And every star and the gliding moon seem to be quite near,
As the first rays of the sun kiss the earth with brightness rare,
The Master, one incredible morning will be standing there.

Luminous in purity, luminous in joy, bringing glory from above,
And if our light has shone luminous, striving for His love,
We will come to meet Him, the glorious day long foretold,
Coming in luminous brightness brighter than any gold.

In these days of trials, cruelty, wickedness and evil hate,
We need to be ready, not just standing there to wait,
But be a good example so our feeble light may shine,
But if we shine together we may all join that light divine.
