COME FOLLOW ME
Pictures of Jesus beckoning in a few places in the temple
There He stands beckoning in such a gentle way,
Kindness in His holy face.
There is a painting in the temple of Jesus beckoning me,
No voice is needed to hear His gentle, silent plea,
I wonder do I come as I see Him beckoning there,
What would He have me do in answer to some ones prayer.
Come unto me each motion gently does plead,
If I often enough listen to Him and then take heed.
Maybe His kind eyes to me seems rather sad,
He asks so little of us, yet He gave all He had.
Why is it hard to follow Him comes so quietly
He would never shout to call us, but do it silently,
A beckon of the hand, that loving still small voice
Is all you need to follow, to make the wiser choice.
