PLAYING TRUCK TAG
Going along the highways there’s a game you can’t help playing
Truck tag, may be all of you understand just what I am saying.
On cruise at About 110 km per hour you constantly safely go.
As you glide along the road with others in a continual flow.
You go down a hill keeping at your same constant speed,
When a heavy loaded truck catches you up, not taking heed,
That, all of a sudden he’s like a dragon speeding upon you.
If he doesn’t go in the passing lane you’ll have to speed up too.
When the road is flat again normal driving conditions return,
Until you go up a hill the quite a lot of distance on him you earn.
The truck driver seems to sense you have gained a lot of ground,
So on the next long down hill, passing you he will be found.
It gets to be quiet friendly as you pass and moving up and down
And adds a little interest, you can even smile instead of frown.
So next time when on a long journey you have to go,
Try and find a loaded truck and soon you will know
How to play truck tag, make friends you may never meet.
Just someone on the road with a friendly smile and a wave to greet.
