Meanwhile, the Mad Thinker takes a interest in Spidey and dispatches one of his androids to investigate. Spidey fends off the android long enough to lure it to where he's able to destroy it. |

Synopsis: Mary Jane walks back into Peter's life, but he's busy "entertaining" Amy. Peter finds out he passed the course he needed to stay in the graduate program. However, he's quickly reminded of his responsibilities and reluctantly decides to quit school. |

Synopsis: Peter goes through the administrative process of leaving his graduate program. He then hears of a break-in at Osborne Chemicals and investigates. Spidey stops some thugs, but their leader escapes with the goods which he brings to the Hobgoblin. Meanwhile, Mary Jane catches up with her old friends. |

Synopsis: Spidey begins his hunt for the Hobgoblin and turns up some information on a thug named Lefty Donavan. The Hobgoblin draws Spidey out into a battle and Spidey defeats him. Spidey discovers Donavan behind the Hobgoblin's mask, but Donavan tells him that he was just used by the real Hobgoblin to test Osborne's strength enhancing formula. Before Donavan can reveal more, the Hobgoblin kills him. |

Synopsis: Spidey tracks one of his underworld informants hoping to be led to the Hobgoblin. However, Spidey finds himself eavesdropping on the planning stage of an armored car heist. Unfortunately, Frog-Man gets in the way long enough for the thugs and their boss to get away. Spidey catches up with them again as they take down the armored car. Yet, when the boss man turns out to be Thunderball of the Wrecking crew, it's more than our webhead expected! |

Synopsis: Peter catches up with Mary Jane, Liz and Harry Osborne. He learns that Harry is being blackmailed and tags along to see who's responsible. Harry isn't alone though, several members of the Century Club are being blackmailed, including J.J. Jameson. The Hobgoblin makes a dramatic appearance revealing himself as the blackmailer. Spidey also makes a appearance, but the Hobgoblin is ready for him with a goblin bomb that robs him of his spider sense. The Hobgoblin gains the upper hand, and is about to kill Spidey until the Kingpin interrupts him and forces him to leave. |

Synopsis: Spidey tries to learn more about the Hobgoblin by talking with those he blackmailed, but they are unwilling to cooperate with him. He digs out his old spider tracer to track down the Hobgoblin since his spider-sense still hasn't returned. They battle it out until a badly thrown pumpkin bomb ignites the Hobgoblin's weapons stash causing a massive explosion. Jay's Notes:
