Rosa Lee Show a Smashing Hit
The production, "The Unseen"  performed by Rosa Lee Gallimore  entertained the audience of about 90 people and children at Indpls Deaf Club last Saturday, April 23rd.  We were impressed with her talent of storytelling, and humor along with video showings.  After the show, there were many questions and answer. She has been involved with performing arts for approximately 10 years, working as a performer, actress, choreographer, dancer, movement and rhythm instructor, director, artistic director, and currently as a Executive  Director of Liberty Road Productions, in Dallas, TX.  Her name sigh is RL.  See Rosa's website for further information:
"The Rosa Lee Show"  http://www.rosalee.moonfruit.com/
After RL's show,  the D.E.A.F. Network Committee presented her an award as a token of appreciation  for her performance.  Then we asked her mother, Laurene Simms to come on the stage to receive a special award  honoring her for founding the D.E.A.F. Network in 1994.  She was really surprised.  Actually, she flew to Indy from Washington, DC to watch her daughter's show.   As a matter of fact, the mother and daughter  graduated from Indiana Deaf School.

Quotation on Freedom
Freedom-loving people around the world must say ... I am a refugee in a crowded boat foundering off the coast of Vietnam. I am Laotian, a Cambodian, a Cuban, and a Miskito Indian in Nicaragua. I, too, am a potential victim of totalitarianism. --Ronald Reagan (b. 1911), U.S. Republican politician, president. Speech, May 27, 1985, at Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp, Germany.
