Achievement Education Center, 7435 N. Keystone Ave (near Wal-mart). Sponsored by Indianapolis Business Leadership Netw ork, Indianapolis Private Industry Council, Inc., and the city of Indianapolis.
This job fair is open to EVERYONE but is targeted particularly towards persons with disabilities. It will feature an accessible workstation with assistive technology for job seekers and empoyers to view. Certified ASL interpreters will be provided as well as large print and other accessible materials.

   16--Workshop by MJ Bienvenu  at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana will be hosting MJ Bienvenu from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The workshop is entitled: "Deaf Culture: A Community View of Interpreters and the Deaf Community." Pre-registration is $35 and at-the-door is $45.   MJ was born and raised in Baton Rough, LA and attended the Louisiana School for the Deaf, graduating in 1969.      23--The Unseen:  A performance by Rosa Lee Gallimore sponsored by the D.E.A.F. Network, 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club, 1917 E. 46th St. The show is full of comical ASL stories, comical video skits, sign-song performances, interactive comedy skits and is lighthearted and entertaining.Â
Rosa Lee is from Issaquah, WA where she works as a Rehab counselor for the Deaf and hard of hearing. She was a former artistic director of Dangerous Signs performance group as well as a student at Deaf West
summer acting school. She has been involved with performing arts for approximately 10 years, working as a performer, actress, choreographer, dancer, movement and rhythm instructor, director, artistic director, and currently as a Executive  Director of Liberty Road Productions. She enjoys watching movies, making music videos, and traveling. See her photo, go to
