Powell,
You are presuming a LOT by inferring that I would vote not to remove Jason. My public vote not to put this matter on the agenda did not have anything to do with the merits of this hearing, but my interest in deferring any action that would be twisted and contorted by the Pink propaganda machine before we have the capability to counter their claims. You people do remember the last campaign for Governor don't you?
I was under the impression that this was a political party not a legal debate society. The level of whining and whimpering on this list the last few weeks has been simply amazing. Let's leave the speculation alone and just avoid this topic until the meeting.

I am placing this onto GovCom and CC; Ernie.
There was a non-govcom letter by Ernie and response by Tim with regards to the 3/4 vote requirement, and the fact that means the deck is stacked.
There are 26 members of GovCom (27 with the vacant State Chair). Jason cannot vote for himself, leaving 25 maximum possible votes present. 3/4 of 25 present is 19 votes to vacate Jason's office. I count 6 probables in Jason's camp: The McDermott's, Sharon Auvenshine, Ted Glenn, Jay Walsh, and Al Fanning. But just because I think this is the way they will vote, doesn't mean that is the way they will vote.
