With all due respect sir, I believe that you are wrong. Pima County IS affiliated with ALP. Said affiliation was approved at the '99 ALP convention and is not a part of Meyer's ruling or the current appeal. In fact, Pima is the only county affiliated with BOTH ALP, by means of said convention -- and ALP, Inc., by definition of ALP, Inc.'s bylaws. As I've said this is the best possible situation for a county party to be in under the circumstances. Any attempt to deny or change that fact would be a detrment to the current situation.

Bob,
Please do point out the things that you consider to be "poison pills" in the ALP bylaws in regards to perpetuating the power of those in charge now. There are certainly very high hurdles to changing te bylaws themselves, but not (at least by my reading) the leadership.
