The LPAZ was cheated then, too.

In short, in 1995 Perry Willis was working for the LNC and for Harry Browne. And the LNC changed their rules, saying that LNC employees could no longer do paid work for candidates for the Presidential nomination. That was roughly at the start of 1996.

And Perry Willis promised that he had stopped working for Browne.

At the last LNC meeting, John Famularo gave the LNC copies of an invoice, showing that Willis had continued to work for Browne, the money being laundered through a third party named in the invoice, so that Willis would no longer have his name appear in the FEC reports.

Now Willis has admitted that the invoice is legitimate, and he did those things http://www.harrybrowne.org/policy/

SO, in 1996, while ALP was the LPUS affiliate, you were robbed.

Browne's campaign manager was Sharon Ayres, who was an LNC member. The campaign co-chair was David Bergland.

Tom Brennen wrote and posted to the PA list the following. In short, your candidate was not treated honestly. And now all those critiques of Mr. Hornberger are going to have to be re-examined. Brennan wrote:

Pa's own John Famularo presented a memo at the last LNC meeting some 3 (4? more?) weeks ago. A memo we now know for certain was a true and accurate depiction of the brazen violation of LNC conflict of Interest rules by Mr Perry Willis. We know this to be the case now because of Mr Willis's own admission in the face of the evidence John presented. Mr Willis worked on Harry Browne's campaign in 1996 for months AFTER The LNC had supposedly finally clarified the already translucent conflict rules and Mr Willis made repeated and total claims of his thorough abidance to them. He lied. Repeatedly. And then he lied some more. He was supported in his lying by a host of individuals most of whom I believe were probably conscripts to his cause. They foolishly believed rather than cravenly conspired. Among that number, was one Joe Dehn. Ok Joe, time to turn the rear view mirror sidways. Please reflect now on a current controversy. Instead of practicing your nailing technique on the barn door after the horse has not only gotten out but has long since gone on to humbler glory as discount dog food, carpenters glue, and strawberry-banana Jell-O, tell me what you're gonna do bout Perry W. We have in Mr Willis a man who has most assuredly violated the private trust of the LP in the most basic way by engaging in subterfuge to conceal his cynical disregard of the conflict of interest provisions he was bound by as the party's paid national director. Is such a man to be trusted in his future dealings with the LP as an outside operator when he acted so disreputably when in party employ? When Mr Willis has shown in his own interminable apologia that he is infected with self-regard of such virulence that his aility to rationalize his own behavior must be now looked upon as the only unlimited resource on earth, can there be any reason to EVER align the LP with one of MR Willis's endeavors? Do we join him in the lawsuit? Do we give him free use of the list? Do we give him any use of the list? Do we sue him to regain past compensation as national director during the time he acted in that capacity in a fraudulent manner?
