I don't expect to change Matt's mind. It's too narrw & closed to allow room for an thought or facts. Never the less, I think it's important to respond to this type of b.s. Matt's type spend most of their time talking to their fellow travelers. They actually believe the majority of people agree with them, and that the rest of us don't matter. When they open their mouths to spew this crap we need to be right in their faces calling them on it. He's a bigot. That needs to be pointed out to him as often as possible. He should be made as uncomfortable as possible whenever he spews his hate speech.
Besides, it makes me feel a tad better. Gets rid of some of the bad taste he left in my mouth. The writing practice doesn't hurt me either.
This is what I sent him. He hasn't replied.

Sir;
Your bigotry and prejudice is only matched by your ignorance. I'm sure others will give you the opportunity to correct the later, so I'll not duplicate their efforts.
Why do you feel so threatened by those who oppose your gun control agenda that you find it necessary to label them with ignorant stereotypes? You do realize this says more about you then it does about the pro-RKBA community, don't you?
For the record, the average gun owner is better educated and has a higher income than the average American. Have you checked the prices on quality firearms and equipment? Also for the record, the majority of American gun owners are not hunters.
The 2nd Amendment is not about duck hunting. Nor is it about self protection. For the single most basic, most important reason for private ownership of firearms, go to www.jpfo.org, the home of Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. Pay special attention to http://www.jpfo.org/genocide.htm, the lessons of history. Don't think it can happen here? Learn a little about US history. Do you know what happened to the post-WW1 Bonus Army? Or that a state Governor put a bounty on the heads the membersof the Mormon church?
I am a college educated, middle-aged professional woman. I don't like beer, or hunt, or live in a trailer, and have never lived in the south. I've never so much as struck another person in anger. I believe that NO ONE has the right to initiate force against another. Can you, in your self-righteousness say the same?
I have the basic human right to defend myself, my family, and my neighbors. I have the unalienable individual, civil, Constitutional, and human right to own the tools to defend myelf, i.e. firearms. Deal with it.
