Subject: TV wants "militia" interview
To: AZRKBA@asu.edu

Long story short.

I got a call from a man that has in the past done interviews for radio and TV on the issue of "the militia". He was contacted by a TV reportr and asked to grant another interview. He said that he would be happy to meet him but without a camera. The reporter came to his home and spent time that evening with he and his wife in their nice home.

Then a few days later he called to ask if the TV crew could spend the whole day with him while he worked (he has his own company). At first he said yes and then started to think that he was being set up. So he called the reporter back and said that he wasn't comfortable with it and declined.

Now the reporter is hard on his case for him to provide another such interview. I know some of you would jump at the chance. But most do not understand what you'd be putting at risk. And those of you that do understand may not all be able to safely give the interview without fear of helpful government then coming to visit later.

I told him to go ahead and give them my name and number (I already know the reporter and know that he would love to have me say things that he already knows I won't,... at least not the way he would like for TV :) so I'm not sure that he'll call me.

But the point is this,...

The man was wondering what the sudden interest is?

IMO - Dean "Viper" Pleasant is due to get out od prison at anytime now and no later than August of this year. He has a current suit in the 9th Circuit that has supported claims of fraud etc. against Napolitano in her prosecution of "Team Viper". IMO- there will be a resurection of the claim that domestic terrorism is a threat and that Janet Napolitano will be there to save us as she has done in the past. She has no chance any other way. The details of her "alleged" crimes are part of the case and were reported on in the Republic on more than one occation during her campaign for AG and her supporters _Must Know_ that'll they'll be an issue this time around for governor.

Sooooooo, look for the militia boogie man to come back to life in all the glory that the media can arrange.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Gun Forum were used by som well placed participants to provide some sound bites for the media to then use as an excuse to promote some agenda of the bad guys. So be careful not to be unprepared and NOT to fall for their trap by back peddling on the issue. The election last had the Militia wording changed in the Az Constitution to say "Capable" instead of the original "Able-bodied",..... why do you think this was so important to them? And it was Dean "Viper" Pleasant that outed the first effort to make this chang back in 1994. Then they were making a direct effort to give the "unorganized militia" to the Adjudant General with a stroke of a pen ( was there during the hearing arguments to the legislature).

Think about it guys. Janet Napolitano will be seriously seeking the office of Governor of Arizona. For her to even act seriously about her chances makes you more understanding of why the push for the hand counted paper ballot is important and why they'll never allow it.

You heard it here first,... get ready.
