Jason persists in believing that ALP, Inc. is not a political party and that he was therefore unjustly removed from ALP GovCom.
Two questions:
First question is for Jason: If there's any chance at all that Inc. is a party, can ALP afford to take that chance? Isn't it better to be safe than sorry? Surely you wouldn't want harm to be done to ALP if it turns out that the State of Arizona, despite your best, most convincing arguments to the contrary, determines that Inc. is in fact a political party, correct? Absent absolute certainty that the State of Arizona does not recognize Inc. as a party, are you willing to subject ALP to even a fraction of one percent chance that your presence on GovCom could harm the party?
Second question is for ALP GovCom: Accepting, for the sake of argument, that Inc. is a party, what harm might befall ALP if Jason were permitted to remain on GovCom? Don't just cite some vague "conflict-of-interest" concern. Tell us, specifically, what might ensue if Jason or any other officer of a political party were to be seated on GovCom. Would it affect ongoing litigation in any way? That is, because Jason is an officer in Inc., as opposed to the Republicrats or Greens or something, does Jason present some unique hazard due to the ALP/ALP, Inc. situation? Or is a general "conflict-of-interest" concern all we've got?
I've seen volumes of verbiage concerning Is/Isn't Inc. a party a party. I've never really seen a good explanation of the harm Jason could cause if Inc. is a party and Jason were to have remained on GovCom.
