BTW,
I just got a call from one of our circulators (we file the west valley
cities on manual counts next Friday at 4:45pm,... more about that in a
minute),... anyway he said something about they're filing the recall on Lady
Rio's boyfriend in the legislature today. I got the long story but I got a
feeling you know more about it that I do :)
We're filling them at the end of the day on Friday to AVOID press while we
take the weekend plus a few days to gather all of the signatures that we
need. AFTER we file we'll then make public statements. We decided that we
should be concerned that opposition would try to block circulation or filing
or some other junk political move.
If the Republic will agree to do the story and to hold it until we file with
the cities, I'll make sure you get to be the first publication (of course
being in the Republic will start most of the others calling us :)
