re the freedom song I recently emailed, the author has been identified and deserves credit:
"We Hate the Government so, Joe"
was written by Paul Feine, for the liberty Round Table's First International Filk Contest, held in November of 1998. He won 1st place in the contest.
DLT further writes: The lyrics are on our web site (http://www.LRT.org, probably in the archive). I think that Paul Feine should get credit for his clever work (the recording was great, as it had his toddler harmonizing in the background), and it wouldn't hurt for LRT to get a nod as well. Perhaps you wouldn't mind forwarding this information to the people you sent the song out to?
