First - Anarchist isn't a bad word to me. But I'd be happy with a government that limited itself to the U.S. Constitution (minus the IRS :)

If you think about what you said i think you'll see the difference between your beliefs and mine. I believe only "I" have the authority to prevent infringement to my rights. If the state claimed this right it would be "prior restraint". This means that the government would have the ability to stop you from 'maybe' doing something bad. The government's curt system is there to provide a peaceful solution for when you "do" something that violates another,... not might. This type of thinking is where all of the social and economic engineering problems come from.

Sorry man, I use to think the same way, then I untied the other haf of my brain (making fun of Rush not you).
