Peter wrote a nice note to congratulate me for getting my picture on
the front page of the Star :-). But no real news. No one has even
confirmed that Tim & Mike are still going to meet with Peter and Bob
this weekend. I'll be crossing my fingers that they DO meet and that
it goes well.
I haven't heard a peep from our "Pima County Browne campaign
coordinator" (snicker...snicker...guffaw!) It doesn't appear he made
good on his promise to join lpaz-discuss -or- call me about borrowing
my Browne campaign video. Perhaps Ed Kahn scared him out of the
party by the mere fact of being armed.
About the rest of the LNC and the national feud...I'm staying
completely out of that one for now. Trying to "mediate" one feud,
where I already knew one side to begin with, is more than enough of a
challenge for me. I realy don't know anyone at the national level.
I'm not even planning to go to Anaheim. I would remind everyone,
however, that Peter has offered that anyone who wants to go to the
national convention from ALP can go, until the delegate allocation is
full. No one should feel they are shut out from going.
