Call me naieve, but I really don't think so. For one thing, he wouldn't have a county party to launch from like he did with Pima the first time. He would be too "outed" for folks down here to follow him if he wanted to start yet another party. Furthermore, I don't think national would ever go for switching affiliation again to another "new" Arizona party.
My guess is that if he really wanted to try again he would have to move to another state and start something there. He'd still have the problem that the folks at national would know about him and would be much less likely to fall for the crap again. Oh, wait, I forgot...national is his master, right? If you knew the contacts I've been getting from national on this you'd realize that's pure nonsense. I'm not saying they're hard core or they're on ALP's side by any stretch, but they're definitely not in love with Peter either.

That's what I'm leaning towards at the moment. The predictable "ALP hates Pima" stuff probably won't get very far if I'm confirming that ALP really had no choice.

You have hit upon the heart of my dilemma: Is it better to try to ignore the litigation, or to try to end it? I really thought that after Jan. 27th the litigation would either be well on its way toward ending or I'd feel that it was time to break all ties and just do ballot initiatives & such. I never considered the possibility that I'd lose my attempt to end the litigation, but get elected to an ALP, Inc. board position anyway plus have a bunch of people vote no confidence on Peter with no outside prodding to do so. It still amazes me that with no other candidate and NOTA unavailable as an option, 10 (plus 4 proxies) of the ALP, Inc. "upper echelon" -- State Committee -- independently decided to abstain or cast nonsense votes rather than vote for Peter. Makes it kinda hard to just walk away and say it's hopeless.

Maybe, but I doubt it. At least your perspective is now clear to me and makes sense. You are convinced that even if I end Peter's ability to litigate from the ALP, Inc. platform he will just form another platform to keep doing it. If I believed that, then sticking around ALP, Inc. would indeed be pretty damn pointless.
