the newspaper says that you have admited to
stealing the campaign signs of gary richardson
who opposed you in the seat for district 27
in the arizona state senate.
the paper says you committed a class 2 misdemeanor
in violation of ars 16-1019 which is punishable
by 60 days in jail.
you were quoted as saying you stole the signs
because they made you look bad. the reporter
said that a honest ethical solution to the
problem would be for you to move your signs
instead of stealing mr richardsons's signs and
went on to say that problem solving skills are
not the forte of politions.
i teach religion to children and have decided to
give my kids a class on stealing. i plan to use
your case as the basis for this lession. a couple
questions for you.
when is it ok for people to steal?
if you feel stealing is wrong for most people
is it ok for people in the government to steal?
and under what conditions is it ok?
should people in the government who commit crimes
be given special treatment? you appear to be geting
special treatment by the tempe police because of
your positions in the government. is this the
correct way it should be handled. or should the
tempe police have treated you the way they would
have treated me if they caught me stealing your
campaign signs?
