Hi, Ernest.

I decided to celebrate this auspicious day by treating myself to a few hour s on Libertarian websites, and found ALP's. I hope the addresses are still current.

Let me begin by saying that I'm a longtime big-L Libertarian. Unfortunatel y, I'm in Pima County. I tried to work with Peter and John, but they felt the need of my involvement only when it furthered their power-grabbing pur poses, and after the 99 convention (at which, I'm proud to say, my husband and I voted with your group and its principles, much to the chagrin of the Schmerl/Zajac contingent) I gave up the ghost. I couldn't believe that fol ks who claimed to value the dignity of the individual could treat their bro thers so abominably.

Is there any hope for us in Pima County? Most people still look at me as i f I must be a little dangerous when I mention that I'm a Libertarian, and I feel like Alice after she fell down the rabbit hole. I'd like to find a w ay to help the party, but I'm stuck geographically, because we have investe d so many years building our business here. I'd also cherish the chance to get to know some REAL libertarians. I'm a lousy schmoozer, but I am a har d worker with time to volunteer.

Thanks for any input you can offer. God bless you and the ALP.
