Sunday, December 10th is Human Rights Day and we will have a table at ASU's Memorial Union from 3:00pm-6:00pm (room 207). The keynote speaker is Ambassador Denis Halliday. Heather and I will be there at 2:30 to set up, everyone is encouraged to come. If you have not signed up for FAST, please go to www.amnestyusa.org and sign up right away. This is the easiest, quickest way to be actively involved with Amnesty International. Our new campaign is on TORTURE and will last for two years, and I have signed up our group to be involved. There will be a statewide meeting on January 20th from 10am-4pm at ASU's Memorial Union rm 223. The focus will be DEATH PENALTY. I will send out reminders as the date approaches. Please go to the Amnesty website to print out the Holiday Actions and send out your cards. Please remember to be sensitive to other cultures and their beliefs. Hope to see everyone on Sunday.
