Hi, Matt.
This particular judge has been reversed on appeal in the Microsoft case already. His recruiting of Lawrence Lessig to write an amicus curiae brief in the case after Mr. Lessig was tossd out as a Special Master raise concerns to me about how fair the trial was. In addition, the lengthy statement of "findings of fact" in the case was written in a manner that appeared bias.
Given the scandal in the District Court for the District of Columbia over assignment of judges to the Independent Counsel cases, that judicial body should clean up its act before it loses even more credibility.
