IMHO We need to educate the public (supporters and not) about the true role that the NRA plays in such things and the principles behind what we believe. And there are many creative and very fun ways to do that,...watch.
I was listening to the TV tonight and heard something strange. Well, two things. The first was a question on who wants to be a millionare. What party is known as the "Grand Ole' Party"? a) Democrats b) Republicans c) Reform d) Green. Even though Libertarians have been around for much longer and had ballot status in all fifty states numerous times, we can only get mentioned in jest on animated shows like the Simpsons and South Park. That's a start though. And it shows a crak in the armor of the media blackout. But it demonstrates how widspread the effort is against freedom. You have to start thinking outside of their cathode rayed box. The second was a scene from Darma and Greg where he was doing a TV commercial for his lawfirm. His father in law (an ex hippie) was saying how bad advertising was and that his commercial was as bad as guns being sold on TV. To which Grgg said, "There are no Gun Commercials on TV",...... Reeeallllyyyy.
Does anyone know more about this? What is the law? has Gun ads on TV been banned like tobacco and liquor...... a very inquiring and devious mind wants to know :)
