Resolution Requiring State Committee Consent for Litigation

Whereas decisions to continue pursuit of the factional fight by means of litigation bear serious consequences to the party; therefore, be it...

Resolved that the Libertarian State Committee hereby directs the officers of the State Committee and the board of directors of ALP, Inc. to obtain the consent of a majority of the State Committee prior to initiating any litigation or appeal concerning the control, definition, officers, or bylaws of the Libertarian Party in Arizona. Consent may be obtained by proposing the litigation and calling for a vote of the State Committee at a duly called regular or special convention, or by sending mail ballots to all currently serving State Committeemen. The proposed litigation shall be initiated only if votes in favor of the proposed litigation are cast by a majority of the currently serving Libertarian State Committeemen.
