Ketera Spend Analysis provides a comprehensive service that enables companies to quickly understand their spending and identify opportunities for controlling and reducing costs.

Responsibilities:

• For requirements gathering from product management, release to QA and timely release of product to production along with managing the team.
• Integration of the application with the MicroStrategy tool. The tool is used to render the analytical part of the application.
• Design and development of the application administration module. This includes the front end layer and also the backend.
• Implementation of Authentication and authorization using JAAS.
• Implementation of Single Sign On (SSO) between the applications.
• Design and development of the reports which need to be rendered to the clients. This is done in MicroStrategy.
• Implemented various functionalities using AJAX.
• Used Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to create the Dashboard.

Responsibilities:

• Struts migration: The application was using a custom framework which was not very extensible. The whole application was migrated to struts to benefit from the various features.
• Jboss migration: The application was using tomcat 4.1 and was migrated to Jboss 4.
• Development of different modules of the application.

• IPCS (IPC Services):

HP-IPC as a project deals with configuring products for online customers. The products vary in complexity, starting from simple desktops and notebooks and going up to blades and racks. The objective of the entire project is to interface with legacy SAP systems that contain modeling and pricing information regarding the products that the business wants to sell.

IPCS is one of the modules of the project, which serves as a middleware gateway. It provides a web-service suite that interacts with a CRM system, an R/3 system and an Oracle DB as the back-end and provides easily understood output for downstream front-end applications. Thus downstream applications do not have to interact directly with the legacy systems, thereby reducing code and effort duplication across various businesses of HP.
