‡ how
to play ‡ |
Auditioning for a main character role The audition itself is easy. All you need to do is write a brief essay in the style of the character you want to play. It hasn't got to be a novel; but it should be long enough to give me an idea of your writing skill. Auditions will be judged on: 1. Technical skill. Spelling and grammar do count. 2. Timeliness. SHRPG is set in 1799, not 1999. Please keep that in mind
while writing. There's no need to write in 'thees and thous', but neither
should there be 'okay' or 'no 3. Creativity. Your essay can be anything from a journal entry, to a letter to a friend. Use your imagination-- and have fun! |

It should be noted that this is also true for gameplay overall. While
I don't intend to edit posts to the list, I do expect players to exercise
their judgment in posting.
Obviously, if you want to play an original character-- and please, feel free to!-- you have only to go to the character board at and submit your character. This will give other players an idea of what your character is like. If you are given a movie role, you may still want to play an original character, if you want-- it's entirely up to you. Auditions are still being held for some of the movie characters, and will continue until all are cast. All submissions must be made via private e-mail, to eisdamme@tampabay.rr.com. **** Auditions sent to the list will be automatically disqualified. **** Thanks for your time, Eisdamme |
