This was one of those bands that got away before they were truly understood by most. This bootleg captures Asgard performing their complete Esoteric Poem live. Sound quality is very good and sourced from soundboard. Song Listing: Esoteric Poem Part 1 , Esoteric Poem 2
Recorded in 2000 with Kikko Grosso back on vocals for this special one of concerts. This is really the first time I have heard hiim sing the "Drachenblut" songs and think they sound awesome. Sound quality is very good having been sourced straight from the soundboard. Song Listing: Drachenfels, Transmigration, Vulgarity, Red Fire, I Am The Udder, Initiation, Olaf Stonehand, Last Flight Of The Silver Drakkar, Dragon's Blood, Quid, Wulfstan
This is the very early lineup of Asgard from 1994 performing a stunning 71 mins set. Sound quality is superb having been lifted strightoff the soundboard DAT and transfered right to CD. Song Listing: The Last Flight Of The Silver Drakkar, Anthoogy Melody, A gathering Of Fairies, The Squirrel, The Queen Of Ice, Virtue, Egoism, Transmigration, Olaf Stonehand, Courage, The Lords Of The Mountain.
This historical recording was I am assuming lifted from the Video of "Let It Be". Sound quality is good and includes lots of talking in between songs. Song Listing: Get Back (Warm Up), Get Back, Don't Let Me Down, I've Got A feeling, One After 909, Dig A Pony, I've Got A Feeling, Don't Let Me Down, Get Back
Possibly the most inferior recoding I have in my collection , although historical. This is the Beatles in Japan with tons of screaming girls and the classic droned out Beatles sound (this was very common with the screaming). I am assuming this was recorded from a poor quality soundboard Song Listing: Rock & Roll Music, Shes A Woman, Day Tripper, If I Needed Someone, Baby's In Black, I Feel Fine, Yesterday, I Wanna Be Your Man, Nowhere Man, Paperback Writer, I'm Down
Recorded from a fine quality handheld stereo mic, this 2 CD set captured The Rhino King live on stage at Toronto's El - Mocambo promoting his Twang Bar King album. Sound quality is very good with few audio flaws and a pretty darn consistent sound level making this a very enjoyable set. Adrian here is performing with his band made up of Adrian Belew (Guitar & Vocals), Christey Bley (Keys), Bill Janssen (Sax, Guitar), Larrie London (Drums), Mike Scheff (Bass). Many classic Belew tracks are performed including Lone Rhino, Fishhead, Adidas In Heat and Big Electric Cat. Left and Right Channel are quite well balanced as well with reasonable instrumental seperation. As you would expect lots of great guitar work and strange sampling.
This is a FM stereo broadcast of Coldplay on their London return gig performing material for the first time from their album "Rush Of Blood To The Head.." The sound quality is excellent as well. Song Listing: Politic, Shiver, Spies, Daylight, Trouble, One I Love, Don't Panic, Everything's Not Lost, Shining Light/Warning Sign, God Put A Smile Upon My Face, Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, In My Place, Life Is For Living
Considering the age of this recording it does sound quite good. I suspect was recorded off a primitave soundboard or was a great FM broadcast. Album definitely captures Baker, Bruce and Clapton in their early days with some awesome instrumentation and heavy rock outs. Song Listing: Tales Of Brave Ulysses, NSU, Sitting On Top Of The World, Sweet Wine, Rollin' and Tumblin, Spoonful, Stepping Out, Traintime, Toad, I'm So Glad
Recorded live at Hammersmith Odeon April 30th 1984 this is David Gilmour on his solo "About Face" tour playing tracks from his 2 solo records and even the odd Floyd cut. Sound source is the sound board and does offer a pretty good transfer with just a few sound dips throughout. Overall very listenable. Song Listing: Until We Sleep, All Lovers Are Derranged, There's No Way Out Of Here, Short & Sweet, Run Like Hell, Out Of The Blue, Blue Light
Recorded live in a small theatre in France 2002. Sound is definitely amazing and from the soundboard. Song Listing: Darkness, Red Rain, Growing Up, Mercy Street, My Head Sounds Like That, The Barry Williams Show, More Than This
2 CD set spans the "Selling England By The Pound" rehearsals. Album coverage is quite good with a great 21 mins version of the making of the "Battle Of Epping Forest". Definitely CD package is purely for the lovers of this album who want more histroical insight into the arguing and performances Genesis were striving for at this time. CD also includes a few studio improvisational moments which I found interesting to listen to. Sound quality is mediocre and not a full stereo reporduction by any stretch of the imagination. Details suggest these in studio sessions were from July - Aug 1973 in Island Studios London England. Source is soundboard but mono
This boot captures Genesis live exceptionally well here at their height of their career. This is a soundboard recording from the '74 show in Waterbury CT. USA Dec 1974 which deserves a great rating on the ol boot sound index (A - to A). Like most boots sound flaws exist, but they do not distract the listener from enjoying the whole show. Genesis get into some extended jams here and I love the narration on "Back In NYC" (one of my all time fav tracks). CD 2 after completing the Lamb Lies Down travels in the studio and contains various mixes and songs in different stages. Sound quality on the studio work is varied and ranges from exceletn to very poor...
This collection of live recordings (and a few studio tracks as well) captures some of Genesis' greatest tracks. Tracks have been lifted by a vast source of bootlegs and rare cuts and for many years represented my own version of the Archived Genesis collection. Song Listing: Let Us Now Make Love, The Shepherd, Pacidy My Love, Stagnation, Looking For Someone, Twilight Alehouse, The Musical Box, Happy The Man, Get Em' Out By Friday, Firth Of Fifth, The Knife
This 2 CD set captures a vast array of Genesis in the studio with outtakes and various demo tracks. CD one is totally devoted to the Lamb Lies Down while CD two covers both early tracks (Happy The Man) and some tracks from Lamb.
This is a double CD live recording from Genesis (Ray Wilson vocals era). Sound quality is fair and was lifted off a handheld recording device. Song Listing: No Son Of Mine, Land Of Confusion, Lamb Lies Down, Calling All Stations, Alien Afternoon, Carpet Crawler, There Must Be Some Other Guy, Domino, Shipwrecked, Firth Of Fifth, Congo, Story The Girls, Home By The Sea, Second Home By The Sea, Dancing With The Moonlit Knight (Acoustic), Follow You Follow Me (Acoustic), Lovers Leap (Acoustic), Mama, The Diving Line, Invisible Touch, Turn It On Again, Throwing It All Away, I Can't Dance
Recorded April 21st at the Centre de l'Universite des Sports in Montreal sources likely from an FM broadcast. This was my first Genesis bootleg I purcheased and did so beacuase of the reasonable sound quality. Songs do have a few flaws in them and a few reporduction screw-ups but overall a very enjoyable reocrding. Song Listing : Watcher Of The Skies, Dancing With The Moonlit Knight, The Cinema Show, I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe), Firth Of Fifth, The Musical Box, The Battle Of Epping Forest, Supper's Ready
Without a question Grobschnitt's "Solar Music" is one the greatest songs performed live and theis rare recording captures this entire performance from 1978. Overall sound quality of the main event (Solar Music) is excellent while the first 2 short tracks have been sourced from a very inferior bootleg somewhere and stuck on (very common with bootlegs). Anyway you would want this really only for the version of Solar Music.
1990 era Steve Hackett featuring some amazing musicianship. Sound quality is amazing and has been lifted straight off the soundboard. Song Listing: Camino Royale, Please Don’t Touch, Everyday, In That Quiet Earth, Depth Charge, In The Heart Of The City, Horizons, Theatre Of Sleep, Jazz Jam, Clocks.
| In 1993 Steve Hackett and Co. popped by Toronto and played a very memorable show at the El Mocambo under a mild October sky. | In 2001 Steve Hackett re-assembled a great band , recorded a CD and then toured. This CD captures the excitement of their concert in Chile recorded from a FM Radio broadcast. Sound quality is very good with a nice range of tones and few imperfections. Song Listing:Mechanical Bride, Serpentine, Watcher Of The Skies, Hairless Heart, Firth Of Fifth, The Waiting Room, Gnossienne No 1., Sierra Quemada, A Tower Struck Down, Camino Royale, In Memoriam, Horizons, Los Endos, In That Quiet Earth. |
Here is a great CD package taking the listener into the studio with George Harrison during the recording sessions for "All Things Must Pass". 2 CD set spans the entire album with instrumnetla and demo verions. Sound production is very good with deep and rich tones.
Rare Handheld recording of IQ live in concert in 1991. Sound quality is very limited to be honest and does not offer any great quality at all...very classic bootleg sounding....grainy and warped in spots. However if you were starving like I was for seeing IQ live then this held a placein my collection. Song Listing: Eloko, Widow's Peak, It All Stops Here, Further Away, The Wake, Nostalgia, Falling Apart At The Seams, Here We Are, Human Nature, Introduction, The Enemy Smacks
Rare IQ album released as a bootleg and as a way to introduce Paul Menel to the world. Thsi 2 CD set contains the entire vinyl collection with great sound reporduction. Song Listing:
Song Listing:Dinosaur, One Time, VROOM VROOM, B'Boom, THRAK, Sex, Sleep Eat Drink Dream, Talking Drum, Larks' Tongue In Aspic (II), Neurotica, 21st Century Schizoid Man, Prism, Red
Here is a gret 2 CD concert of King Crimson caught live @ the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California November 15, 2001. This CD is very well recorded and brings out the awesome power of this 4 piece band. Adrian Belew (Guitar, Lead Vocals), Trey Gunn (Chapman Stick, Backing Vocals), Robert Fripp (Guitar, Soundscapes, Captivating Personality) and Pat Mastelotto (Drums, Percussion). Song Listing:The ConstruKction Of Light, Into The Frying Pan, eleKtriK, Level Five, Dinosaur, One Time, Virtuous Circle, Prozac Blues, Dangerous Curves, Lark’s Tongue In Aspic IV: Coda:, I Have A Dream, The Deception Of The Thrush, Thela Hun Gingeet
Semi official release which was available on download from the King Crimson website for a short period recorded in 1996. CD is sourced definitely from the soundboard or great FM broadcast. Material covered is mostly from THRAK album which remains one of my personal favs from recent King Crimson era. I love their version of RED on this recording very deep in sound and I love the bass interplay of Levin and Gunn. Song Listing:Dinosaur, One Time, VROOM VROOM, B'Boom, THRAK, Sex, Sleep Eat Drink Dream, Talking Drum, Larks' Tongue In Aspic (II), Neurotica, 21st Century Schizoid Man, Prism, Red
The 2002 tour in Toronto saw King Crimson perform a good chunk of improvisational material and move away for many of the more classic KC grooves. This recording has been sourced from a handheld recording device and carries that classic underground bootleg quality about it. Athough audio is poor the overall concert is "salvagable". Song Listing: Dangerous Curves, Into The Frying Pan, eleKtriK, Construnction Of Light, Thela Hun Ginjeet, Dinosaur, Virtous Cage, Larks Tongue In Aspic Part IV, Coda, Decpetion Of The Thrush, Level Fire, Red
This 1999 concert captures Jethro Tull live at the House Of Blues. Overall sound quality is not bad with a bit too much mid range (missing some of the low end). Source of sound is likely a good handheld recording device. Song Listing: Steel Monkey, For A Thousand Mothers, Serenade For A Cukoo, Nothing Is Easy, Jeffrey Goes To Leicester Square, Fatman, Dot Com, Bouree, Hunting Girl, My God, Locomotive Breath, Aqualung, Living In The Past, Cheerio
This less than perfect bootleg is likely taken from an inferior soundboard recording but does capture Marillion in the early days. They perform a very rare version of She Chameleon and a track titled Institution Waltz. Overall sound is reasonable and enjoyable just no where near digital. Track Listing: Forgotten Sons, Garden Party, She Chameleon, He Knows You Know, The Web, Institution Waltz, 3 Boats Down From The Candy, Market Square Heroes, Margaret.
This boot is a collection of 3 different events...Tracks 1-7 capture them live at Reading Rock Aug 1982, The second 2 tracks at Roskilde July '83 (Off TV) and the final track offTV 's Old Grey Whistle Test May 20 1983. Overall sound is very good. Track Listing, Garden Party, He Knows You Know, 3 Boats Down From The Candy, Market Square Heroes, Forgotten Sons, Margaret, She Cameleon, Forgotten Sons, Margaret, Forgotten Sons
This excellent soundboard bootleg captures Marillion in the midst of recording Misplaced Childhood and as a result stands as a historical recoring in that Misplaced is really only in its initial form and both lyrics and music is still under construction. Track Listing, Garden Party, Cinderella Search, Jigsaw, Misplaced Childhood, Incubus, Chelsea Monday
This recording was lifted from the BBC transcription disc from a FM radio broadcast in Nov 1987. This was during the Clutching At Straws tour and features some great song versons. Sound quality is top notch again not sounding at all like a bootleg recording. I love the Hotel Hobbies/Warm Wet Circles/That Time Of The Night segment. Track Listing: Slainte Mhath, White Russian, Incubus, Sugar Mice, Fugazi, Hotel Hobbies,Warm Wet Circles, That Time Of The Night, The Last Straw

Song listing: Slainte Mhath, Assassing, Script, White Russion, Incubus, Sugar Mice, Torch Song, Fugazi |
| CD 2 Recorded live in Milawaukee in 1987 during the "Clutching At Straws" tour and lifted from a handheld audio source. | A Fine quality soundboard recording of these 2 heavy weights recorded live in concert during their 1973 US tour. This set includes some really nice long tracks with some pretty groovy and trippy music going on. Santana and McLaughlin are at their best here with some fantatsic guitar playing. They are joined by Billy Cobham (Drums), Armando Peraza (Percussion) , Doug Rauch (bass) and Larry Young on the keyboards. Song Listing: Meditation, The Life Divine, A Love Supreme, Afro Blue, Introduction, Naima, Flame Sky, Taurian Matador, Congo Solo, Drum Solo, Taurian Matador - reprise, Let Us Go Into The House Of The Lord. |

"Amsterdam '69" is one of about 4 known performances of "The Man" and The Journey." This recording contains all of the show (most do not). Sound quality is actually very good and sounds very professionally done. One can tell this was lifted from a FM radio broadcast as the radio voice chimes in from time to time. Was recorded at the Concertgebow Amsterdam Sept 17, 1969 - Track Listing, Intro, Grandchester Meadows, Biding My Time, Work, Sleeping, Cymbeline, Nightmare, The Journey, Green Is Thy Color, Beset By The Creatures Of The Deep, The Narrow Way, Pink Jungle, Instrumental, Footsteps, The End Of The Beginning
The cover Art very closely resembles the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's Original Master Recordings series of CD's with gold horizonal stripes running across the cover against a black background. Large gold stripe at the top reading "ORIGINAL MASTER SERIES" in the same font used by MFSL. Not sure this is true but of course the sound reproduction is superb and sounds flawless...another essential reocrding and not sounding like a bootleg at all...Sourced according to documentation from 29 Apr 1970, Fillmore West, San Francisco, California, U.S.A. Track Listing, Grandchester Meadows (7:00),Astronomy Domine (10:19), Cymbeline(11:27), Atom Heart Mother(20:21), Embryo (11:25)
Remastered on 24 bit tec from master tape from the 26 Sep 1970, Electric Factory, Philadelphia PA show. This is a truly exellent recording from the 1970 US tour. The sound quality is very clean all the way though with no loss of volume with great bass and treble controls. All in all its one of the best sounding roios ever if you like to feel as though you where there at the concert. The performace is exellent with the vocal being the best I have heard 1970 and a good amount of exepermention going on. It also has Interstellar Overdrive with the longest performace I have ever heard them do. Track Listing, Astronomy Domine, Cymbaline, A Soucerful Of Secrets, Interstellar Overdrive, Fat Old Sun, Green Is The Colour, Careful With That Axe Eugene
This bootleg has appeared under a few different titles...Screaming Abdabs Live....According to the record it suggests it was recorded from the London England, 1971 @ Paris Theatre show. Sound quality is very good with full soundboard or excellent FM quality broadcast. Song listing: Embryo, Green Is The Colour, Careful With That Axe Eugene, If , Atom Heart Mother, Fat Old Sun, One Of These Days, Echoes
This bootleg has appeared under a ton of other titles but has been compiled as a double CD and nicely assembled with a twist being the voice of John Peel as the evenings emcee. Pink Floyd were at thier most creative these 2 evenings with a fantastic version of Careful with that axe Eugene and Embryo. CD one was recorded live at the Paris Cinema London 1970 and the 2nd CD live Sept 30 1971. Both carry a nice sound quality. Songs are as follows: Embryo, Fat Old Sun, Green Is The Color, Careful With That Axe Eugene, If and Atom Heart Mother. CD 2 : Fat Old Sun, One Of These Days, Embryo, Echoes and Blues.
Once again have seen this bootleg buzzing around under many titles but is definitely well worth having. Sound quality is perfect with lots of great sound effects and psychedelia. Definitaly as good as a a live recording can be from this period. According to track details this was recorded off soundboard and was recorded Spet 16, 1970 London England, 16/9/'70 Paris Theatre London. Song listing: Embryo (10:00), Green Is The Colour (3:29), Careful With That Axe Eugene (7:18), If (6:43), One Of These Days(2:59), Echoes (11:05)
Actually this live complete peformance of Pink Floyd and The Dark Side Of The Moon was recorded 16 Nov 1974, Empire Pool, Wembley and was a BBC FM broadcast...this disc says Feb 1972, London, which is not right. Sound quality is good and was an FM radio broadcast. Sound dynamics are not great but still quite listenable , just missing the highs. Overall concert though is quite steady and once you are into it does pplay quite fine right thru. Some claim this is be best show they did ever of the Dark side available today in the black market. Song listing: Breathe, On The Run, Time, Beathe Reprise, The Great Gig In The Sky, Money, Us & Them, Any Color You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse
Recorded during the 1975 concert and recorded via handheld recorder offering that classic skunky bootleg sound quality you normally would expect. The best thing about this 2 CD set is that is give us insight into the DOGs album before it was released with songs still titled in early stage like "Raving & Drooling" and "You've Got To Be Crazy".Recorded at the Boston Garden, the first CD to cover a complete 1975 US tour set. Most enjoyable are the preformances of "Gotta Be Crazy", which is different to both the 74 and 77 (Dogs) versions, and one of the last pre-87 "Ecoes", with very nice sax solos. Song listing: Raving & Drooling, You've Got To Be Crazy, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5), Have A Cigar, Shine On (6-9), Speak To Me, Breathe, On The Run, Time, Beathe Reprise, The Great Gig In The Sky, Money, Us & Them, Any Color You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse, Echoes.
Recorded live while on tour in 1975 at Ivor Wynne Stadium June 28th, 1975. Sound quality is very good and I am assuming was taken from the sound board a while back. My personal copy offers excellent sound resolution and I have heard other copies which sound much worse than this version...likely a different source tape and certainly tape generation. This 2 CD set is very enjoyable with few glitches and flaws.Song Listing: The Great Gig In The Sky (6:38), Money (9:09), Us & Them (7:29), Any Color You Like (9:29), Brain Damage (3:55), Eclipse (2:16), Echoes(24:42), Exit (0:40)
This was Porcupine Tree's grand support opening to Marillion on their 2001 tour. Overall is fair but not as clean as other PT recordings I have. Song Listing: Even Less, Slave Called Shiver, SHESMOVEDON, Last Chance To Evacuate Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled, Stop Swimming, Hatesong, Up The Downstair
2 CD package capturing Porcupine Tree live during the 1999 Progfest in California. Sound quality is very average and quite bootleggy sounding really having been sourced from a handheld recording device. Song Listing: Even Less, Piano Lessons, Waiting, Don't Hate Me, Signify, Pure Narcotic, A Smart Kid, Voyage 34, The Sky Moves Sideways, Radioactive Toy.

Song Listing: Russia On Ice, Voyage 34, Moonloop, Last Chance to Save Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled, Where We Would be, Tinto Brass, Shesmovedon, Slave Called Shiver |
The Ritz Power Jam is really one very unique show performed by members of Govt mule, Allman Brothers, Phish to name a few. This 3 CD set has been mastered right from a soundboard DAT Recording and offers absolutely a superb sound quality. CD runs right thru the whole performance with a 3 CD package to commemorate this grand concert. Band lineup: Warren Haynes, John Popper, Noel Redding, Lincoln Schleifer, Chuck Leavell, Bernie Worrell.
This is a portion of Supertramps concert from the Hammersmith Odeon and was a FM radio broadcast (BBC). Song Listing: School, Bloody Well Right, Hide In Your Shell, Asylum, Sister Moonshine, Dreamer, Rudy, If Everyone Was Listening, Crime Of The Century.
