Paul Eisenhart was choral director with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus for the past eleven years as well as having founded the Florida Boys Choir. Mr. Eisenhart was named choral director during the 1988--89 season by music director James Judd.
A graduate of Philadelphia's Lower Moreland High School,
Mr. Eisenhart won a football scholarship to Ohio's Wittenberg University and turned to music following a sports injury. He graduated in 1963 from Westminister Choir College in Princeton, N.J. In 1968 Paul Eisenhart moved to South Florida where he earned a master's degree in music from the University of Miami.
In addition to his work with the Boys Choir and the Philharmonic, Paul Eisenhart served as artistic director of the Miami Choral Society from 1972 to 1982 and was instructor of vocal music at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, at Barry University, Biscayne College, and the University of Miami.
Mr. Eisenhart died November 12, 1999 following complications from congestive heart failure. Our heartfelt sympathy to

The world mourns the departure of Paul Eisenhart and will long remember this great man and his contribution to exquisite choral music.
