Listening to some idiot guy is not a good excuse to be idiot too. In Italy there is the thought that people from Finland are the stupid and poor cousins of people from Sweden. I don't believe a word of it. I have travelled a lot too (even not as much as A to is doing) and the few people from finland that I knew where nice, polite and friendly.
