| NYC is always an adventure........ |
| New york city became i guess you would say a big part of my life after sept 11th... my ex boyfriend took me there on our second date i was so fascinated... then he took me for christmas to broadway to see rent... i loved it... well when our relationship ended i kept going and i brought my best friend with me... well... too cuties in NYC was more then we could take in;).... here are some of our adventures, pictures to go along will come soon we both alwasy had a disposable camera with us... ;) |
| Houlihans First time me and sam went to NYC, we visited Ground Zero... amazing feeling when you are there... we walked all around the memorial there... then we went to lunch at houlihans... we ordered our drinks... we both wanted iced tes... our waitress who looked like a hooker was like "raspberry, lemon, or long island...?" me and sam not wanting to get carded were like unsweetened... later durring that meal our waitress came over and was like here you go ladies this is compliments of me and the bartender... it was three juice glasses half full of a kamakazie... we did a shot with out waitress... let me tell yah the buzz we both got... after that we walked around china town... got our names painted in chinese art... very cool! then we followed these two hotties until we hit little italy... then we lost them... damnit.... then we tried to figure out the subway thing and it wasnt working so we took an exciting taxi cab ride... oh how i hate taxi rides in the city... it was sams first... she was a taxi virgin;) till next time i suppose... ;) |
| Naked Boys Singing... Well before Sam went on tour for crossmen... i took her to go see Naked boys singing... well we had an incredible time, starring at these amazing male singers as they sang and danced... and um talked to us... :) when we first got there we were led to the back to sit so we wouldnt interupt (we had second row seats) and so at intermission we moved to them... and the main guy who was singing stoped and looked at me and sam and said "so things are a little bigger down here now arent they?!" we were like "UHHH.." it was cute... anyway after the show we went and got dinner at this cute italian place... we had white wine and chicken something that was really good ok... so after that we realized we were late for our bus... so we ran i mean ran to the bus station... only to get on and get kicked off casue we didnt buy our tickets prior... so we thought we were stuck in NYC... we bought toothbrushes... etc... tried to find a hotel... way expensive... then i called mom... sigh somethign i didnt want to do but i did and she was like take the train ill pick you up then drop you off to get yoru car... ok i told her i would call when we were on the train... well we got side tracked by none other then a bar (mind you this was a cop, fire man and paramedic hang out bar next to a fire station)...... sam was like im thirsty so i said SODA... so we walk in and automatically we had to men jump up and give us their seats... then ask what we wanted she said long island iced tea i said rum and coke... i had four rum and cokes in a half and hour and sam had one long island iced tea... so we were done.. i was half gone... and here we were with cops everywhere trying to make our way back to the train station... so we finally did and some drunk guy helped us buy tickets and find our train and was sat with him on the way home... i was sortof sober when mom picked us up except i think she knew becasue i wouldnt shut up... but so i was sober enough when i got into my car... geeze.... what next??? |
| Me and Sam went shopping a couple of times... nothing to exciting happened except raising our credit card bills... UGH |
| Mars 2112 Sam, Jen, Angela and I went into NYC one night after practice...first of all we were supposed to go in by train... well becasue we were singing madonna in the car i missed our exit and ended up not realizing until we were outside NYC. Well we called dave and we asking him which way to go and i almost killed us all in my lil cavalier... ohy... gotta love tunnels.. but anyway we got there and into a parking garage... so we were in times square and got approached and got tickets to the comedy club or something. we never went but... it was cool... we walked around toys r us... we wanted to go on the ferris wheel but didnt have time... we got our pic taken with pooh and tigger... i know DORKS... anyway we found our way to mars 2112... took our space ship ride into the resturant... and had an awsome time... hehehe... then got our pictures with aliens... and shopped in the store... and what else.. oh we were going to go clubbign but jens feet HURT!!!! but then we headed home, got home around like 3am.... after finding our way out of NYC i tell yah times square is mad confussion... and then we had to go to freakign practice in the morning... but all in our mars 2112 shirts;) |
