A Memoir for Mrs. Sullivan -by Bryna Ivens Untermeyer. A charming  true story of a kitten adopted from the actress Margaret Sullivan, who played Jane in the original Tarzan movies, by the Untermeyers,writers and publishers. This is my favorite cat memoir of all.

All I Need To Know I Learned From My Cat - by Suzy Becker. A wise and delightful small book about our relationships with our cats. The illustrations are simple, amusing and to the point. If you have never read this, a must read. And if you have and perhaps forgotton about this gem, maybe it would make a great gift to a cat lover?

The Cat Who Came for Christmas - by Cleveland Amory.The life and times of his delightful rescued cat, Polar Bear. Now all three of the Polar Bear books are published as the Complete Cat, which also includes, The Cat and the Curmudgeon and The Best Cat ever.

Cross Country Cat  - by Mary Calhoun. Story of a cat accidently left behind at a cabin, who cross country skis his way to safety.

An Owl and Three Pussycats - by the Provensens , wonderful, often funny stories about the authors country cats and rescued baby owl , that teaches that cats are in many ways still wild.

Pat the Cat - touch and feel book for the youngest readers,like Pat the Bunny.
