This picture is of a dedicated memorial to the World Trade center. Interestingly enough, this is at St Vincent's Hospital which was the closest to the WTC and had the most cases. Kieran would have been born here if we didn't move to Poughkeepsie. I remember looking at the Towers during Kieran's ultrasound....Also see:A tribute to the WTC

This is what we could see from Chamber's St, we were some of the first to go through the subway station when it reopened...

Fortunately, while we were there, Duncan cheered me up by playing with this little girl beneath an American flag in the window at Starbucks. A great picture by Janelle and a tribute to NYC as America's melting pot....
