A by-pass around Malvern opened in early 2006. It is signed as U.S. Rt. 270. The orignial portion will become U.S. Rt. 270B. A connection to U.S. Rt. 270 on the north side of Malvern. For a short time U.S. Rt. 270 will run un-signed along I-30.*
