Your interest in now piqued on the subject of aromatherapy – but where do you start? What will you need to start making your own aromatherapy products? It’s very simple actually, and most of your supplies come straight from your own kitchen!
Essential Oils:
The basic “must-have” essential oils are:
Lavender Rosemary Peppermint Eucalyptus Tea Tree Orange
Also nice to have on hand are:
Lemon Geranium
(Most essential oils are sold with stoppers that double as measuring droppers which makes it easier to measure out your oils per drop.)
Blending Bottles
1 dram and 1 ounce size bottles are good to start your blending with. These bottles can usually be ordered through stores that carry essential oils, or through specialty catalogs such as Lavender Lane (www.lavenderlane.com).
Carrier Oils
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (inexpensive and good to use when you first start blending)
Sweet Almond oil Grapeseed oil Hazelnut oil Sunflower oil

Epsom Salt Baking Soda Corn Starch
Table Salt Witch Hazel Spray Bottles
