This is me..Of course, I am Audrey, the Grand Queen of all Music Dorkdom, the Opera Guru (as Teresa calls me), or just about anything else you want to call me as long as it isn't profane or derogatory.. This picture of me (not one of my best but it is OK) was taken by my friend Mel in her dorm room. Contrary to what this picture may reflect, I do NOT normally wear this much makeup, if any at all. Currently, I am a junior Vocal Performance major at the University of North Texas, studying with Dr. Cody Garner. Maybe one day I will start putting up a resume of my opera roles but for now, I have enough on my plate. For ten years I played viola until recently when I decided to quit because it took too much time away from my voice studies. This site, although still in rough form, is intended to be the ultimate musician's resource. It is intended to encompass in one site what many do already so as to be more convenient. All the information posted is my own, either my notes or my own research. All of it has come from legitimate sources and should be highly creditable (most of it is my music history notes given to me by my music teachers and professors direct from their own knowledge and research or out of books such as Groves and Groute).Oh yeah and the music you are listening to is my favorite opera aria. Hopefully one day when I become successful, I'll be able to sing it for people who are going to pay me for it.
