It has come to our attention that a company located in Russia is BOOTLEGGING one of our CD releases: "Creature of the Velvet Void"! DO NOT BUY THIS CD! Before you purchase this Architectural Metaphor CD anywhere, check or ask what record label it is on. The fraudulent label from Russia is Substantial Music. The back cover will also have a picture of a pig on it and there will be Russian lettering. DO NOT BUY THIS CD! The only legitimate label that this CD should be on is BLACK WIDOW!

April 28, 2005 News:

Murph is back from LA and practiced with us last night. He has the month of May off until he goes back on tour with Dinosaur Jr in June & July. Our goal is to get into the studio mid May to finish up our next CD. Our new singer, Andrea Aguayo, and Murph are learning the songs for the studio dates. Next to Murph, Andrea is no slouch either; she's won awards from "Downbeat" Magazine with an acapella group. The group won Best High School Jazz Vocal LP twice. In addition the group performed at the Harmony Sweepstakes and the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland.

We opened up for Mono at the AS220 in Providence,RI. Mono's set was great musically but got tainted as 5 to 7 police officers busted into the bar & walked through the club w/ guns pulled out looking for someone who just killed another police officer!! This was the police officer who was killed in Providence, RI.

April 11 News:
We had a rehearsal with a female singer, Andrea Aguayo, whom we plan on taking into the studio with us so that we can finish up our next CD. We plan on having Andrea record with us to do 2 or 3 original songs. The rest of the CD will be instrumentals including a studio version of Nuclear Sun. Two songs already recorded are improv jams or VERY loosely structured songs.

MARCH NEWS:
Eventhough the Dinosaur Jr re-union will happen (They are only playing a few shows, but these shows will be HUGE!), Murph says that he is still interested in playing with Arc Met. Hopefully, his Dino shows won't conflict with the shows that we have lined up. We do a few back up drummers in case this does happen.

Greg's tendonitis in his forearms has gotten better & he is playing. Arc Met will go into the studio before the end of April to record a few more songs to complete our next release. We found a new female singer who will record with us.
