MANDARIN

Citrus reticulata

Background: Mandarin oranges were first introduced into Europe in the 19th Century, and the essential oil is extracted from the peel of the fruit. This is a very gentle oil that is safe to use on both the elderly and children.

Properties: Antiseptic, carminative, antispasmodic, antidepressant, tonic for the lymphatic system and the digestive system.

Precautions: PHOTOTOXIC - DO NOT USE BEFORE EXPOSURE TO ULTRA-VIOLET RAYS OR SUNBATHING.

Physical Uses: Cramps, stomach upsets, insomnia, stress and nervous tension, skin treatment, helps circulation and fluid retention, cellulite, stretch marks.

Emotional Uses: Anxiety, stress, depression, trauma and shock.
