Background: Jasmine Oil is an absolute, and is produced by solvent extraction from the jasmine flowers, which are hand picked at Dawn because the fragrance is at it’s strongest. Jasmine is native to India, Egypt, China and the Mediterranean and belongs to the Oleaceae family.
Properties: Antidepressant, aphrodisiac, antispasmodic, relaxing, carminative, sedative, parturient, emmenagogue.
Precautions: Do not use during Pregnancy.
Physical Uses: Ease labour during childbirth, ease period pains, uterine disorders. Can also help respiratory conditions (coughs, laryngitis, catarrh).
Emotional Uses: Soothes the Nervous System, relaxes, anti-stress, calming and is known for its aphrodisiac properties. Jasmine is helpful when treating stress, depression, hormonal imbalances, jealousy, bitterness and low self-esteem.
