She wasn't always called Rainbow Brite. In the beginning, her name was Wisp. After she restored color to the land by defeating the Dark One, she became known as Rainbow Brite.

She's very brave, caring and she never gives up. She has protected Rainbowland many times, and even saved the universe from a spoiled princess.

Her sprite is called Twink and she has a horse named Starlight.
