Tatiana Vizsla:
At age 17, Tatiana is the ace vanship pilot of the Silverna. She pilots the red vanship. She is ver self-confident and has a good amount of battle experience. Though she is very prideful and arrogant, she is actually brittle mentally. She also tends to be really arrogant and competitious when she encounters Clous, who is an exceptional vanship pilot himself.
Alice Tear:
Otherwise known as Alisster,Alice is 17 and a vanship pilot on the Silverna. She is very quiet, but is a strong willed character. She's also Tatiana's navigator and best friend, despite how Tatiana treats her.
Alex Rowe:
Alex is the commander of the Silverna. He seems quite cold, since he rarely says much. He walks with a limp and always has a cane with him (it makes him look older :p). He always seems to look tired or bored or something though. He seems to be a very smart person and have a good bit of commanding experience behind him even though he is only 28, and he is respected by the crew of the Silverna. His ship the Sylvana, was the first ship to make contact with the Anatore Fleet within the Grand Stream. Later on, he is given the charge of protecting Alvis Hamiliton.
Sophia Forrester
Sophia is the 2nd in command on the Silverna, and is very wise and unyielding. She also is well respected among the Silverna's crew. She's nice but forceful if she needs be and later, you discover the reasoning behind most of her wisdom. At the same time, she is afraid of taking full charge of a situation.
Dio Elaclaire
Dio is the brother of the highest ranking person in the Guild. He's a very smart person, and he makes that known. He is interested in Clous for some appealing person. But at the same time, he is a really weird person. His only fear, is his sister, Delphine who is Queen of the Guild.
Alvis Hamiliton
Al is the mysterious little 11 year old girl who was being taken to the Silvana by another vanship pilot named Ralph Wednesday and an older woman named Gita. It appears that the Guild wants Al for a certain task and sends starfish aircrafts to get her, but Clous takes over the Ralph's mission and takes Al to the Silvana. What's so special about Al anyway? You find out why later...
Lavie Head
Lavie is Clous's navigator just like how her dad was Clous's father's navigator, and a really good one at that. She too is highly experienced for her age of 15. Lavie also serves as a mechanic for their vanship, and a cook for her and Claus. She is a nice girl, but has a bit of a temper problem when you get her mad. She doesn't seem to like doing more than what's needed for a mission.
Clous Valca
Clous is the main character and hero of Last Exile. He is a surprisingly great vanship pilot even though he is only 15 years old. He lives in a small house with Lavie, who has been his friend since they were children. His ambition is to reach past the Grand Stream just like his father died trying.
