Sakura's Rival

"You mean Keroberos?" Li is surprised. Then he asks why the gaurdian beast needs her help. "Uh, I accidentally let The Cards out of The Clow Book." Li laughs, "Keroberos was supposed to guard The Clow Cards. Don't tell me they all escaped." Sakura nods. "But you got some of them back right?" Sakura tells him that she's working on it. Li calls Sakura pathetic.

Sakura asks Li how he knows about The Clow Cards. "That's none of your business but I'm taking over. Give them to me." Sakura is backed up to a fence. "No." She cries and runs out of the way. Li again insists that she give him the cards. He walks over to Sakura to take them by force. Just then Madison steps around the connecer. "Hey! Stop it!"

Sakura and Li are fighting over the cards when Tori jumps over the fence. Li lets go of Sakura and jumps back. Madison ran over to Sakura to see if she is alright. Sakura says she is fine.

Tori tells Li not to pick on his sister. "Why don't you go home before someone gets hurt? Namely you." Tori and Li are about to face off when Julian hops over the fence.

Julian lands right between Li and Tori and begins to dig into a bag. He asks Tori about the physics exam that they took ealier that day. Tori backs down from Li and turns his attention to Julian.

Julian says hi to Sakura and Madison. he gives Tori, Madison and Sakura each a treat. He then turns his attention to Li. He is still in fighting position. Julian walks over to Li. "Uh, here. You want some?"

Li turns and begins to run away when he trips on a rock and falls face first into a pile of dirt. He looks back at the group and then turns and runs away. Julian is left standing there with a treat in his hand. "Guess he's not hungry.'

Sakura and Madison are walking home from school discussing Li and Kero. "Will Kero know what to do about that Li guy?" Madison asks. "Sure. He's the guardian of The Clow Cards. He's probably at home right now planning our next move." Madison agrees. In Sakura's room Kero is sleeping.

Sakura and Madison are walking past the playground when they hear a thunder clap. Storm clouds start to form over head. "Oh, great. A storm." Sakura says as the two of them run for cover. They take shelter under a penguin slide just a a bolt of lighting strikes the ground. Both girls cover their ears. Then they both turn and look outside.

Sakura holds out her hand, "That's wierd. It didn't even rain." Just then another bolt of lightning strikes a nearby lamp post. Then it jumps to another and another and another.

A man that had been working in the park walks by the playground. Blots of lightning chases him away. Sakura and Madison are still hiding watching the sky when the storm clouds disappear and sun is shinning.

In Sakura's room Kero is sleeping. "Wake up!" Kero is thrown to the wall by Sakura's yell. Sakura and Kero are sitting on the floor drinking tea. Sakura tells him all about what happened at school that day.

"Expect the unexpected" is Kero's reaction. He reminds her that she is a Cardcaptor now and that's what she should be worried about not some small schoolyard scuffle. "This is powerful magic we're dealing with here." "Kero, he tried to take The Clow Cards."

Kero explains the history. "Soccery is an ancient tradition. Now, most sorcerers practice in line with their traditions but my master, Clow Reed, created a new kind of magic when he created The Clow Cards." Sakura interupts, "But what does that have to do with Li Showron?"
