Sakura's Rival

"Oh, no. That tower. That kid. Kero. Oh,no! He's got The Clow Cards. I've gotta--Hey! Come back!" You can hear Kero. "Hey!Hey!" Sakura, "I can't. I can't"

"Come on kid. Wake up!" Kero wakens Sakura from her slumber. Sakura still trapped in the dream swats Kero away before she comes to her senses. She tells Kero that she is sorry. "What's going on?" Kero asks her. Sakura begins to tell him about her dream when there's a knock at her door.

"Sakura." Tori opens the door. Kero flops onto the bed and is perfectly still. Sakura tells Tori that she's up already. Tori insists that there was other voices in the room. Sakura, nevously, tries to convince him otherwise. She puts Kero on a shelf near her bed..

Tori tells Sakura, "I think you're losing it kid." and shuts the door. Kero breaths a sigh of relief when Tori opens the door again to tell her that he's leaving in ten. Kero and Sakura breath another sigh of release when Tori shuts the door.

Sakura walks over to her window and opens it. She is still pondering her dream. "Get over it, Sakura." Kero tells her. he explains that she should be more worried about The Clow Cards and to expect the unexpected.

"Sakura, you're going to be late." Her dad is standing on the front porch. She calls back to him, "I'm coming." She puts on her rollarblades and steps out the front door. She she Tori taking off on his bike. "Tori! Wait up!" She takes off after him. "Wait!"

She finally catches up to him. Tori mentions how things like this happen when she sits in her room talking to herself. "Hey Julian." Tori calls out to friend who is also on a bike. The three of them set out for school.

Tori tells Julian about what he had heard that morning. Julian smiles and asks Sakura, "He givin you a heard time again?" "As usual." she tells him. Tori mentions again the mornings events. Sakura protests.

Sakura tells Julian that she just had a strange dream last night. "Dreams can tell you what you least expect." Sakura thinks to herself about Kero said ealier that morning. Julian tells Sakura how he had a dream. like that last night. Sakura becomes intrested. "Oh, yeah." He tells her that last night he had a dream about eating french toast and when he woke up that's what he did.

"Another video camera?" Sakura is in the classroom talking to her best friend Madison. Madison explains how her new camera cust down the color noise. "And we are noisy." Madison adds. "Hey guys." Another classmate walks in. Sakura greets her, "Morning Rita." Just then the teacher walks in.

"Good morning class. Take your seats please." The teacher explains that they have a new exchange student named Li Showron. He invites Li into the classroom. Madison is confused and asks Sakura, "Why do you suppose we're getting an exchange student at this time of the year?" Sakura shrugs her sholders and says "I don't know."

Li walks into the classroom. Sakura gasps. "That's him. From my dream." Madison leans over to Sakura and points out that the new kid is staring at her. The teacher decides to sit Li right behind Sakura. She gasps again.

Li walks down the aisle and pauses just short of Sakura's desk. He stares at her when Madison tells Li that his seat is over here. He sticks his nose into the air and takes his seat. Sakura has become very nervous.

"Excuse me?" Sakura and Li are outside beyond the school yard. Li begins to speak, "Source of light with with ancient spin send forth the magic within. Oracles of gold, wood, water, fire, earth, clouds, wind, rain, and electricity. Force, know my plight. Release the light!" Li is holding a board of some type. It starts to golw and shoots out a stream of light that ends at Sakura.

Li jumps back, "It is you." Sakura gasps. Li tells Sakura that she does have them. Sakura is very confused. "I have....what?" Li explains that what he is holding is a Lasin board. "It knows all." He then asks for The Clow Cards. Sakura tells Li that even if she did have them she's not giving them to him. She explains that she is capturing them for Kero.
