Sakura say they are important to her, too. Li says that he doesn't need her help. Sakura tells Li that she doesn't need his. |
Li gets up and says that he's going back. Sakura chases after him. |
The next day Sakura and Madison were washing up. "So what are you going to leave behing at the shrine on the walk tonight, Sakura?" |
"To tell you the truth, I was wondering if we could maybe leave Li there." |
Later that day Sakura and Madison are sitting in the cool shade of some trees. |

Sakura looks out on the water towards the cave. Suddenly the light from the night before appears again. |

Sakura gasps and rubs her eyes. |

She looks again at the cave and sees nothing. Madison asks if anything is wrong. Sakura says that she is fine. |
"And so for our walk to the ancient shrine you'll use candles, not flashlights. so you get a really good sense... |

"of what it was like when the ancient people visited the shrine." Said Ms. Moore, a female teacher. All the kids cheered. |
Sakura stands next to Madison and begins to sense something. |
Ms. Moore tells the kids to go in by twos and threes. She also tells them to use all of their senses not just their eyes. |
She tells them to be quite while in the cave. |
Sakura is starting to become very afraid. |
The teacher explains that at the end of the cave they'll cross a bridge and there is where the shrine is. |
She also tells them that they can leave a stone or a shell at the shrine and make a wish. |
"Then you turn around and come back here. It's the same path coming and going so it's impossible to get lost." |
She starts sending in kids one group at a time. |
"It's our turn." Madison graps Sakura's hand and begins to pull her along. |
Zachary turns to Li, "D-do you think there really are ghosts in there?" Li doesn't answer. |
