Club Trouble
With delayed newsletters, bad spelling mistakes and little news it was obvious that by Issue Thirteen of the already troubled Ant News Today there was a grey cloud over the ANT office. In a brave attempt to conceal the backsage changes (by now Kevin Cann was on his way out and Michael Cox was on his way in) 'Mr Cardy & Mr Ant' present a rather splendid front cover and slick design throughout.
Adam seems to make an attempt to explain his whereabouts for the previous two years - so obviously fans were still writing in to the ANT offices with their concern for Mr Ant's music career. In hindsight we can see that Adam was already hinting at new songs for the future LP Manners & Physique with Brand New Torso but again acting news dominates. Stills from Out of Time rub shoulders with news from The Count and Chris De Niro plus a treat for the US fans.
One interesting section worth noting is the apology at the very end of the newsletter - it leaves one wondering just what exactly happened to that young Mister Cann...!!
