Even with Adam establishing himself in the United States, issue six of the London-based Ant News Today is a vast improvement on its predecessor. Starzone editor Kevin Cann was by now at the helm and his influence had an immediate impact with glossy photos and a renewed optimism in the writing.
Gossip included a movie character portrayed by Rupert Everett based on Adam (We think this was the Ruth Ellis biopic Dance with a Stranger but can anyone confirm this?) and reports from the US leg of the Vive Le Rock tour.
Exclusive backstage photos of Adam on his recent travels completes the booty and, unlike previous newletters, this issue launches more interaction with members by encouraging them to enter competitions and offer their views in regards to a proposed 'Ant Party' later in 1986.
