A.N.T. Issue Eighteen

New Album... Almost!

The summer edition of Ant News Today at last announced that news every fan had been waiting to hear since 1985, the release date for the next album! And this newsletter revealed that it would be out in the 'end of August'. Err.. August 1989? I think not! Unless there is a record shop called 'End of August Records' there is no way that this album could be seen to be available at the 'end of August'. Even the video for the first single hadn't been done yet, and this news release was written in June 1989. And despite all this, A.N.T say they hoped this had ended the silence and hoped that they could 'put pay to all rumours, invalid opinions and doubts we know Adam and fans of Adam have been constantly plagued by over the past couple of years' - they say it's the thought that counts...

However, despite giving out unconfirmed information, this is a pretty fun-packed newsletter in retrospect, featuring a brief, and perhaps a little cryptic, blurb about each song on the album by Adam himself. Adam also mentions the inspiration behind the album artwork. Thankfully the photo sessions were not a case of 'dog eat dog'!

Meanwhile, Trust Me was available at last, although this is completely over shadowed by the album news.. a breath of fresh air considering an entire newletter devoted to his acting entitled 'Adam at the Movies' had been released two years before!
