Here Comes the Grump?!
At the centre of attention in this issue was the Big Man himself, Marco Pirroni. And who better to quiz the guitar-weilding maestro than Adam! After a fairly pleasant time talking about his guitars and a few of his favourite things Marco went off on one about some person I've never heard of called Paul Thompson, who Marco finds incredibly annoying, it seems.
Other than this, Marco's top ten singles and albums are listed, mainly made up of 70's artists from Roxy Music to the Sex Pistols.
Meanwhile, the newsletter fills us in on the latest news. The main topic was the studio news, revealing than Adam and Marco were busy recording, and that Adam had 100 different titles for the forthcoming album. It also reported that the album was pencilled in for July 1989 release...!
The rest of the back page was crammed with our recent information, ranging from a film script which Adam had written to how Adam's clothing had been stolen at a punk exhibition (no, he wasn't wearing it at the time!) All in all, a pretty fact-packed edition, although more info on the new album would have been better for morale!
