After several issues featuring no music news, issue 15, out in autumn 1988, was the first sign that things were at last looking up! Despite being rather vague, this issue reveals Adam's plans to head back to where he belongs - the recording studios! But as ever, further details are promised 'in the next issue' - don't hold your breath!
The rest of the newsletter is padded out with the second half of the Jordan interview, featuring yet more interesting and unknown tales from the Ant World, ranging from Adam's tea-drinking habits to the time she appeared on stage with her 'arse hanging out'! The mind boggles..!
As for the fan club itself, it was going from strength to strength, this time with the release of Word of Mouth and XVBD. Word of Mouth is a collection of re-printed handbills from the late 70's, and XVBD (aka '15 before Dirk') is a book containing lyrics to 15 songs written, yep you've guessed it, before the release of the Dirk album! The lyrics in XVBD were also accompanied by collages done by Adam himself. These two items are still much sought after today, so this really is an indication that the fan club, in the late 80's, were catering exactly for the fans' needs!
